NDA seat-sharing agreement reached
When the Election Commission announced the Bihar elections, it emerged that the NDA was struggling with seat-sharing. It was being said that Chirag Paswan’s LJP (R) and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM were unable to reach an agreement on seat-sharing within the NDA because Jitan Ram Manjhi was demanding more seats for his party.
To resolve this issue, BJP’s election in-charge and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan came to Delhi from Bihar and tried to work out seat sharing arrangements.
The seat-sharing arrangement announced by the NDA now gives the BJP 101 seats in Bihar, the JDU 101, the LJP (R) 29, the RLM 6, and the HAM 6.
Chirag Paswan’s statement on seat sharing:
Chirag Paswan wrote on his Instagram handle, “We, the NDA family, have completed the seat sharing for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections in a cordial atmosphere.
BJP-101, JDU-101, LJP (R)-29, RLM-06, HAM-06. Bihar is ready, NDA government again, this time with full force, with Bihar First, Bihari First.”
