Yesterday, on the fifth day of the fair, the Honorable Badlapur MLA, Shri Ramesh Chandra Mishra, former Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kripa Shankar, District President Pushpraj Singh, District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra, and other dignitaries inaugurated the program by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp.
At the main entrance, NCC students from T.D. Inter College welcomed the guests by tying a turban and presenting a bouquet, a dhoti, and a memento.
The Chief Guest, other public representatives, and officials inspected the stalls set up by entrepreneurs and various departments in the district and gathered information about various products.
The Agriculture Department presented Sudarshan Yadav, Director of Jan Samriddh Krishak Producer Company Limited, with a symbolic key to a tractor under the Farm Machinery Bank.
The government provided a grant of ₹8 lakh. Under the government’s ambitious CM Udyami Yojana, checks were symbolically distributed to Sanju Chauhan and Anurag Singh.
The Hon’ble MLA urged everyone to contribute to India’s global leadership by adopting indigenous products. He stated that the Prime Minister and Chief Minister have called for the adoption of indigenous products, emphasizing the use of goods manufactured in India.
The former Minister of State for Home Affairs noted that young entrepreneurs are enthusiastically participating in this Swadeshi Mela, for which he congratulated the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Hon’ble Chief Minister and urged all entrepreneurs to set up stalls at the Badlapur Mahotsav. He also called for Swadeshi Melas to be held in all tehsils.
The District Magistrate appealed to everyone to come to the fair and purchase indigenous products, contributing to the country’s self-reliance.
The District Magistrate presented his book, “Karmakumbh,” to the Hon’ble MLA and other guests present.During this visit, the Hon’ble MLA and others also made purchases while visiting the stalls. The general public present also shopped enthusiastically at the fair.
Chief Revenue Officer Ajay Ambsht expressed his gratitude to everyone. On this occasion, NCC cadets assisted in managing the arrangements.
Block head Satendra Singh, Professor R.N. Tripathi, General Secretary Sushil Mishra, Superintendent of Police Dr. Kaustubh, Deputy Commissioner of Industries Sandeep Kumar, Jaiprakash, and others were present.
