The incident occurred in the afternoon when Dr. Raj Singh Chauhan had returned home for lunch. Karan Chauhan fired at him with a pistol and fled the scene.

Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene within 15 minutes and rushed the injured to the hospital. Mirganj SO Vinod Kumar Anchal stated that the accused, Karan Chauhan, had recently been released from jail.

He committed this crime to maintain his dominance in the area. Karan Chauhan already has several serious criminal cases registered against him.

Doctors said that due to the presence of multiple pellets on Dr. Raj Singh Chauhan’s body, after first aid he was referred to the district hospital for better treatment.
