Over 25 Dead in Bus Accident in Nepal

In Nepal’s Tanahun district, a tragic bus accident resulted in the deaths of over 25 people when the vehicle plunged into a river.

The bus, registered in India, was en route to Kathmandu with 40 passengers on board.

Search operations are ongoing, with 16 survivors rescued so far. The Nepal Army, assisted by local residents, used ladders and ropes to help the injured out of the river. Efforts to retrieve the remaining bodies continue.
