The Himachal government has approved the establishment of 14 new industries and the expansion of an equal number of existing ones.
The establishment of these industries will result in an investment of Rs 1734.65 crore in Himachal Pradesh and provide employment to 6,000 people.
In a single-window meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday, approval was given to set up 14 new industries in Himachal. The expansion of 14 existing industries was also approved.
The goal is to establish these industries within five months. The Chief Minister directed that these industries be established soon.
He stated that industrialists are ready to invest in Himachal. The state government is providing facilities for industrialists under one roof. Efforts should be made to attract green industries such as IT, ITES, and tourism.
These are the new industries:
MS Angus Dhundhi India will manufacture Indian-made foreign liquids and animal feed in Kangra, Members Pharma will manufacture pharmaceuticals in Sirmaur, Jupiter Solartech will manufacture solar cells in Solan, Morepen Medipath will manufacture pharmaceuticals in Solan, OPG Mobility will manufacture electric vehicle spare parts in Solan, Superior Biotech Limited will manufacture dry injections, liquid injections, and 500 mg tablets in Solan.
Furthermore, Ambrose Auto Company Ltd. will manufacture auto spare parts in Solan, Desert Eagle Arms will manufacture iron and steel spare parts in Solan, CBG Plant will manufacture biogas foam in Sirmaur, Bahri Renivel will manufacture metallurgical biochar in Mandi, and Paras Spices will manufacture ice cream and ultra-high temperature milk in Una.
These industries were approved for expansion:
Campus Activator for footwear in Solan, Assistocraft International for security thread and security pigment for currency notes in Sirmaur, and United Biotech for injections, capsules, ointments, syrups, and tablets in Solan.
Apart from this, Aristo Laboratories was given approval for manufacturing of injections at Solan, Zydus Lifescience for manufacturing of pharmaceutical formulations (tablets) and capsules at Solan, Khurana Oleo Chemical (Unit-2) Solan for manufacturing of solenoid valves and formulations, Siddharth Super Spinning Mills for manufacturing of synthetic yarn at Solan, NGG Power Touch India for manufacturing of distribution transformers and power transformers at Una, Micro Seamless for manufacturing of auto components and aluminium casting at Solan, Unico Cosmetics for manufacturing of bottles and containers for other colour cosmetics at Solan, Balaji Storage Batteries for manufacturing of battery charging and packaging at Sirmaur, Raj Industry for manufacturing of soap noodles and soaps at Solan and Alpla India for manufacturing of plastic bottles and plastic caps at Solan.
